Application, Removal & Care Guide
Before You Begin
Read the instructions provided with your nail set and adhesive. Work in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area. Keep nail glue and small accessories away from children and pets.
Preparation
- Wash and thoroughly dry your hands.
- Gently push back the cuticles.
- Lightly buff the natural nail surface if recommended for your adhesive.
- Remove dust, oil, lotion, and moisture with an alcohol wipe or suitable nail cleanser.
- Match and arrange all ten press-on nails before applying adhesive.
Using Adhesive Tabs
- Select a tab that fits the natural nail without touching the skin.
- Apply the tab and press firmly to remove air bubbles.
- Remove the protective film.
- Align the press-on near the cuticle without placing it on the skin.
- Press firmly from the center outward for approximately 20–30 seconds.
Using Nail Glue
- Use only a small, controlled amount of glue.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes, mouth, fabric, and painted surfaces.
- Align the press-on near the cuticle and lower it onto the natural nail.
- Press firmly for approximately 20–30 seconds.
- Wipe away accidental excess only as directed by the glue manufacturer.
Do not force a nail that does not fit. Do not use on injured, infected, inflamed, or highly sensitive nails or skin. Stop use if pain, burning, swelling, rash, or irritation occurs.
After Application
- Avoid prolonged water exposure immediately after application.
- Wear gloves when cleaning, washing dishes, or handling harsh chemicals.
- Do not use the nails as tools to open packages or lift objects.
- Avoid picking, biting, or forcing lifted edges back down.
Gentle Removal
- Never pull or pry the press-on nail off by force.
- Soak the nails in warm soapy water with a small amount of oil.
- Gently work around the edges with a wooden cuticle stick when the adhesive begins to loosen.
- Repeat the soaking process as needed.
- Follow the adhesive manufacturer's removal instructions for stubborn glue.
Strong removers or acetone may damage the finish, decorations, or reusability of some press-on nails. Use only when appropriate for the product and adhesive.
Cleaning and Storage
- Remove adhesive residue gently without scratching the decorative surface.
- Allow nails to dry completely.
- Store them in their original tray or a clean, dry container.
- Keep away from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
